The Austrian pianist Marion von Tilzer received her first piano lessons at the age of eight. Her principle piano teacher was the American pianist Suzanne Bradbury. From 1989 to 1992 she studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and has been performing as a soloist and a chamber musician in Spain, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. She has made radio recordings for the NCRV, the KRO and the Conzerzender. Her repertoire strongly emphasizes contemporary music and exploration of improvised forms.
